Reading Ladies rugby team was formed in 1990 and have grown from strength to strength throughout the years, both in playing and socially.
Today the Ladies have a senior team, a junior team, and a Wino's (ex-players) group. Many ladies with and without experience have come to Reading because of the great team camaraderie, and social life and have enjoyed playing rugby of a good standard.
The senior team have been promoted up the leagues, won tournaments, and enjoyed memorable wins over old rivals. Players have played at regional, national and international levels.
We enjoy a good social life with regular nights out, and an annual tour.
In recent years the Junior team has been established and producing a new batch of quality players. The majority of team are now regular members of the Berkshire squad.
The Wino's are ex-players who still have the love and passion for the game.
We have players from 17-?, it would be rude to disclose the age of our oldest player. So if you are interested in learning, or continuing a rubgy career then call us and come to training.
